Management Accountant West Yorkshire

Our client is looking for a Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls and commercial insight.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys both technical finance and people leadership, with responsibility for leading a small team and supporting informed business decision-making.
Key responsibilities*Lead, develop and manage a small finance team.
*Produce consolidated and practice-level management accounts.
*Deliver accurate reporting and insightful financial commentary.
*Own monthly balance sheet reconciliations and controls.
*Prepare and maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast.
*Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end audit.
*Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting.
*Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
About you*Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
*Proven experience producing management accounts in a commercial environment.
*Confident people leader with the ability to coach and develop others.
*Strong technical accounting and balance sheet control skills.
*Commercially minded with excellent analytical and communication skills.
*Organised, proactive and comfortable working to tight deadlines.

Desirable: Experience within a multi-site retail environment and/or cash flow forecasting.
