Our client is based in Bournemouth with excellent commuting links (near the M27 & train station). Due to a change in the team, this role will play a key part within the finance function and bridge the gap for a few months.
Description
As the Interim Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
*Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial insights.
*Collaborate with various departments to understand financial impacts and drive efficiencies.
*Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
*Monitor and manage cash flow to support operational needs.
*Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions where needed.
*Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
*Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
Profile
In order to be considered for the Interim Senior Management Accountant, you should have:
*A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
*Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.
*Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
*Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting tools.
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
*Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
*Familiarity with the life science industry would be an advantage.
Job Offer
*Competitive daily rate of £275 to £325, dependent on the level of experience.
*Temporary position based in Bournemouth.
