We’re working with an established accountancy practice in Hertford that is continuing to grow its Private Client offering and is looking to strengthen its team at both Tax Semi Senior and Tax Senior level.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work within an established team, gain exposure to a varied private client portfolio and have a clear route to progress their career.
Tax Senior | £40,000-£50,000As a Tax Senior, you’ll manage a varied portfolio of private clients, working with HNW individuals, business owners and other privately held clients.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across both compliance and advisory matters, with exposure to areas such as:
*Self Assessment and personal tax compliance

*Capital Gains Tax

*Inheritance Tax

*Trusts

*Tax planning and advisory work

*HNW individuals and business owners

*Liaising directly with clients and supporting more junior members of the team

The role would suit an experienced Tax Senior who is ready to take on greater responsibility and continue developing their advisory and client management experience.
Tax Semi Senior | £30,000-£40,000This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Semi Senior looking to build their Private Client Tax experience within a supportive and established team.
You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of personal tax work, including:
*Preparation of Self Assessment tax returns

*Personal tax compliance

*Capital Gains Tax

*HNW individuals and company directors

*Trust and estate work

*Supporting with tax advisory projects

*Working closely with experienced Seniors and Managers

There is plenty of scope to develop technically, take on more responsibility and progress towards Tax Senior level.

Who are we looking for?We’re interested in speaking with candidates from Tax Semi Senior through to Tax Senior level who have experience within an accountancy practice and are looking to continue their career within Private Client Tax.
ATT/CTA study or qualification would be beneficial, although relevant practical experience will also be considered.
The role is well suited to candidates across Hertford, Ware, Hoddesdon, Welwyn, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Broxbourne, Stevenage and the surrounding Hertfordshire areas.
