Role Overview:
Academics are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Art Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a Secondary Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to nurture students’ creativity, develop their technical skills, and instill a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons that cater to the needs and interests of students.
*Encourage experimentation and exploration across various artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
*Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to express themselves creatively.
*Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students develop their artistic abilities and reach their full potential.
*Collaborate with colleagues to organise art exhibitions, workshops, and other enrichment activities to showcase students’ work and celebrate their achievements.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Specialism in Art or related subject area.
*Experience teaching art at the secondary level (NQTs are welcome to apply).
*Passion for the arts and a commitment to fostering creativity and self-expression.
*Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
