SJC Partners are working with a leading regional law firm that is looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join its established Property department in Worcester.

Role
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Conveyancers and Solicitors, providing legal and administrative support across a broad range of Residential Property matters.
This opportunity would suit a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal, Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Assistant with previous property experience who is looking to develop their technical knowledge and take on greater responsibility.
You’ll gain exposure to transactions throughout the conveyancing process, with opportunities to become increasingly involved in progressing matters and developing towards a fee-earning position over time.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Assisting fee earners with a varied caseload of Residential Property transactions
*Supporting freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*Opening new matters and completing client onboarding procedures
*Ordering property searches and assisting with enquiries
*Preparing contracts, transfer documentation and routine correspondence
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and other solicitors
*Providing clients with regular updates throughout their transaction
*Assisting with exchange and completion requirements
*Supporting post-completion matters, including SDLT and Land Registry applications
*Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files and case management records
*Ensuring key dates and deadlines are monitored effectively
*Providing general legal and administrative support to the wider Residential Property team
