SJC Partners are working with a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm that is looking to recruit a Licensed Conveyancer to join its successful Residential Property department in Hereford.

Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing their own varied Residential Conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.
This opportunity would suit a Licensed Conveyancer (CLC) with strong technical knowledge and previous experience independently managing residential property transactions. Applications would also be considered from experienced Residential Property Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives (CILEX) with equivalent experience.
You’ll handle a broad range of transactions and maintain direct relationships with clients and professional contacts, while playing an active role in the continued success of the Residential Property department.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
*Managing a varied Residential Conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion
*Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*Advising on remortgages, transfers of equity and other Residential Property matters
*Handling new build and shared ownership transactions where required
*Reviewing title documentation and raising and responding to enquiries
*Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements and other legal documentation
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and other solicitors
*Providing clear and proactive advice throughout the conveyancing process
*Ensuring transactions progress efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of client care
*Managing files in accordance with CQS, regulatory and internal compliance requirements
*Developing strong relationships with clients and local professional contacts
*Supporting the continued development and growth of the Residential Property department
