Full job descriptionReed Business Support are exclusively supporting a well-established business within the construction sector, supplying products and services to projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Warehouse & Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of their warehouse operations and support the coordination of deliveries, logistics and maintenance activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys managing people, coordinating workloads and ensuring operations run smoothly. No previous mechanical knowledge is required, and full training will be provided in areas of the role where necessary.
The Role
Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for supervising a small team and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse and logistics function.

*Managing holiday requests, absence and general employee welfare within the team.
*Maintaining accurate records and operational documentation.
*Using Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel, to support daily operations and reporting.
*Liaising with internal departments to ensure projects and deliveries run smoothly.
Whilst the role is predominantly Monday to Friday, there may occasionally be a need to provide brief support outside of normal working hours in the future. This is expected to be minimal and would form part of the ongoing development of the position.
The successful candidate will have:
*Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or management role.
*Strong organisational and planning skills.
*The ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate workloads effectively.
*Good communication skills with the confidence to liaise with internal teams and external contractors.
*Competency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
*A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
*The ability to work independently and make decisions when required.
*Experience within construction, logistics, warehouse or operational environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
*A positive attitude and willingness to learn new aspects of the business.

Salary and Benefits
*Annual salary of £35,000
*Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
*Full training provided.
*Opportunities for progression and increased responsibility.
*Supportive and stable working environment.
*Free onsite parking.
