Finance Process ManagerPermanent | £51,928 - £57,333 | Hybrid Working
Are you an experienced finance professional looking to take ownership of key financial processes within a vital emergency services organisation?We are seeking a Finance Process Manager to lead core finance operations, ensuring efficient, compliant and well-controlled financial processes across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing finance team within the public safety and emergency services sector.
The RoleReporting into senior finance leadership, you will oversee transactional finance activities while driving continuous improvement across finance processes and controls. You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting reporting requirements and leading a small finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations.
*Leading and developing a small finance team.
*Overseeing cash management and cash flow forecasting.
*Managing month-end processes, reconciliations and financial controls.
*Supporting VAT compliance and financial reporting requirements.
*Assisting with year-end accounts and audit preparation.
*Identifying and implementing process improvements across the finance function.

What you’ll need to succeed


*Experience managing finance operations, accounts payable or accounts receivable functions.
*A recognised accountancy qualification, part-qualification or strong qualified-by-experience background.
*Strong financial control, reconciliation and reporting experience.
*Experience working with ERP finance systems.
*Excellent organisational, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
