The Consultant Ecologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a range of projects from early-stage planning through to delivery and long-term habitat management. The role will provide exposure to BNG, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments and protected species surveys.
Requirements:
*Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
*Professional ecology consultancy experience
*Experience undertaking ecological surveys and assessments
*Knowledge of UK ecology and relevant legislation
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Full UK driving licence
*Full right to work in the UK
*Living in or within a commutable distance of the Edinburgh office
*Desirable - protected species licenses + CIEEM membership
