Head of Geography - January Start
An excellent Independent School in Woking is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Geography to join their team from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Geography Teacher looking to lead a department and inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
As Head of Geography in Woking, you will:
*Lead and manage the Geography department, driving high standards of teaching and learning
*Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
*Develop and enhance the Geography curriculum
*Support, mentor and inspire colleagues within the department
*Monitor student progress and implement strategies to maximise achievement
*Promote a passion for Geography throughout the school community

The Ideal Head of Geography Will:
*Hold QTS
*Have proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level
*Demonstrate leadership experience or be ready to step into a leadership role
*Have experience teaching Geography across KS3, KS4 and ideally KS5
*Be passionate about achieving excellent outcomes for students
*Possess strong organisational and communication skills
*Be committed to continuous improvement and departmental development
