Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity within a supportive secondary school?
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Hounslow, working 5 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous school-based experience who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and helping them reach their potential.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
*Providing one-to-one and small-group support to students with additional needs.
*Supporting students to access the curriculum and participate in lessons.
*Working closely with teachers and the wider support team.
*Helping students develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
*Supporting students with their social, emotional and educational development.
*Adapting your approach to meet individual student needs.
*Providing encouragement and reassurance to students throughout the school day.
*Supporting classroom routines and contributing to a positive learning environment.
What You Must HaveTo be considered, you must have:
*Previous experience working in a school setting.
*Experience supporting children or young people with SEN or additional needs.
*A patient, nurturing and supportive approach.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*The ability to build positive relationships with students.
*A reliable and professional attitude.
*A valid DBS or willingness to complete the required safeguarding checks.
