Are you a graduate looking to start a career in education, or an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking your next opportunity?
We’re looking for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Harrow on a long-term, full-time basis, with the potential to become permanent.
Experience working with teenagers through tutoring, youth work, mentoring, sports, coaching, volunteering or similar settings would be ideal.
This is a great opportunity to develop your education experience and make a genuine difference to young people.
What You’ll Do
*Support secondary students in KS3 and KS4 with learning and development

*Provide one-to-one and small-group support

*Help students overcome barriers to learning

*Build positive relationships with students

*Work alongside teachers and support staff

*Encourage confidence, independence and resilience

*Support an inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For
*Positive, enthusiastic and approachable

*Ideally, educated to degree level and/or experience working with teenagers


*Experience with SEN (such as ADHD, dyslexia, Autism or SEMH) is desirable
*Strong communication skills

*Passionate about supporting young people

Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential. Your attitude and ability to connect with young people are what matter most.
