Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a number of primary schools across Islington who are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs.
These are ideal opportunities for Teaching Assistants who are passionate about supporting children on an individual basis and are looking for a consistent, long-term position within a primary school.
The Role:
*1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant support
*Long-term, full-time opportunities
*£95-£110 per day, depending on experience and hours
*Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
*Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
*Providing academic, emotional and behavioural support
*Helping pupils engage positively with their learning
*Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous experience working with children with SEN
*Experience providing 1:1 support is highly desirable
*Confident supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and additional needs
*Patient, empathetic and nurturing approach
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Reliable and committed to a long-term role
*Available 5 days per week
