This is a permanent opportunity where the successful Assistant Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller in Nottingham.

This role would suit someone who studying towards their AAT level 4 and looking to continue their studies to CIMA / ACCA.
This is a office based role in Nottingham.
Description
*Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
*Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
*Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
*Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends or discrepancies.
*Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights.
*Help maintain compliance with financial regulations and policies.
*Contribute to process improvements within the finance team.
*Support the preparation for audits and liaise with auditors as needed.
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
*Strong analytical and numerical skills.
*Experience in a similar position.
*Experience with financial reporting and budgeting.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
*A good understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
*The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
*A relevant qualification or working towards one (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £30,000 to £33,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Permanent role in Nottingham.
