Are you an experienced Senior Ecologist looking to join an independent environmental and planning consultancy working across renewable energy, infrastructure and nature-based projects?
The Senior Ecologist role will involve:
*Managing medium to large and complex ecological projects
*Leading surveys, site visits and ECoW work
*Producing high-quality ecological assessments, reports and management plans
*Providing specialist ecological advice to clients and stakeholders
*Managing subcontractors and quality-checking project deliverables
*Line managing and mentoring junior ecologists
*Supporting business development, tenders and client relationships

Requirements:
*Relevant degree and strong consultancy experience
*Associate/Full CIEEM membership or working towards
*Strong project management and report-writing skills
*Excellent knowledge of UK ecology legislation and guidance
*Experience mentoring or managing junior staff
*Full UK driving licence
*Full right to work in the UK
*Living in or within a commutable distance of the Liverpool office
