Join a friendly and passionate ecological consultancy working across the South East, with projects covering protected species, habitat creation, restoration and Biodiversity Net Gain. They are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their team in Kent.
As a Senior Ecologist, you will:
*Lead protected species and habitat surveys
*Undertake ecological assessments and BNG work
*Prepare technical reports and plans using QGIS/ArcGIS
*Manage projects and liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams
*Prepare and oversee protected species licence applications
*Provide guidance and mentoring to junior ecologists
*Support habitat creation, restoration and mitigation strategies

Requirements:
*5+ years’ ecological consultancy experience
*Relevant ecology/environmental degree
*CIEEM membership
*Protected species licence(s), with progress towards others
*Strong UKHab, BNG, QGIS/ArcGIS and report-writing experience
*Project management and client liaison experience
*Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
*Full right to work in the UK
*Living in or within a commutable distance of the Kent office
