Full job descriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and dedicated Teacher of Geography to join our strong Humanities team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:*Plan, resource, and deliver engaging, high-yield Geography lessons that cater to students of varying abilities.
*Prepare Key Stage 4 students effectively for GCSE examinations.
*Integrate enquiry-based learning, spatial analysis, and practical fieldwork into the curriculum.
*Maintain high expectations for progress, behaviour, and positive classroom culture.
*Contribute to extracurricular opportunities, department enrichment, and local/national field trips.
Requirements:*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and a degree in Geography or a closely related discipline.
*Proven track record of delivering Geography at KS3 and KS4.
*Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and the ability to inspire young minds.
*Clear Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).
