Senior Credit Controller (Interim) 3 months initially
Location: Datchet (5 days office-based) Contract: 3 months initially Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour + holiday pay (DOE) Start: ASAP
We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on an interim basis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a strong accounting background who is equally confident managing complex credit control and high-volume account reconciliations.
Reconciliations are essential for this position, so we’re looking for someone who has extensive experience resolving ledger discrepancies and ensuring customer accounts are accurate.
Responsibilities:
*End-to-end credit control
*Chasing outstanding debt via phone, email and written correspondence
*Performing complex customer account reconciliations
*Investigating and resolving invoice and payment quires with internal stakeholders
*Allocating cash and maintaining accurate customer accounts
*Producing aged debt and debtor reports for management
*Escalating overdue accounts
*Supporting continuous improvements across credit control processes
We need:
*Proven Credit control experience
*Strong accounting background with excellent reconciliation skills
*Confident handling high-volume sales ledger and complex account quires
*Experience using Sage (ideal)
*Advanced Excel skills
