Full job descriptionFull-Time HLTA | GreenwichAre you an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? A welcoming and supportive school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team on a full-time, 5-day-per-week basis.
The successful candidate will have previous HLTA or relevant classroom experience, strong knowledge of teaching and learning, and the confidence to lead and support pupils across the school. A degree is preferred, alongside a genuine commitment to helping children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities*Deliver engaging lessons and learning activities across the school.
*Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils.
*Cover classes and lead learning in the absence of the class teacher.
*Support teachers with planning, assessment and classroom management.
*Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
*Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
*Contribute to the wider life and development of the school.
The Ideal Candidate*Previous experience working as an HLTA or in a similar classroom-based role.
*Strong understanding of the curriculum, teaching and learning.
*Confident leading lessons and managing a classroom independently.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Degree educated is preferred.
*Passionate, reliable and committed to supporting pupil progress.
