An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Science Technician to join a welcoming and supportive school in Lewisham.
We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Technician with previous experience working in a school or laboratory environment. A relevant degree is preferred, alongside a strong understanding of science practicals, laboratory procedures, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities*Prepare and set up practical experiments and demonstrations across Science subjects.
*Maintain and organise laboratories, equipment, chemicals and resources.
*Support teaching staff and students during practical lessons.
*Ensure all laboratory activities comply with health and safety requirements.
*Manage stock levels and order equipment and materials when required.
*Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment is safe and ready for use.
*Contribute to a positive, organised and engaging learning environment.
About You*Previous experience as a Science Technician is essential.
*Strong knowledge of Science and practical laboratory procedures.
*A relevant degree or qualification is preferred.
*Good understanding of laboratory health and safety.
*Organised, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
*Enthusiastic about supporting students and contributing to their learning.
