Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Tilbury. You’ll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operation and supporting the Warehouse Manager to ensure everything runs safely, efficiently and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities*Supervise and allocate workloads to the warehouse team.
*Ensure all warehouse activities follow SOPs and Health & Safety procedures.
*Monitor and achieve daily/weekly warehouse KPIs.
*Ensure documentation and records are completed accurately.
*Support recruitment and induction of additional warehouse staff.
*Monitor MHE maintenance and report faults.
*Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site security.
*Ensure staff training and development is kept up to date.
*Deal with performance and operational issues effectively.
*Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency.
About YouThe ideal candidate will have:
*Previous warehouse supervisory/team leader experience.
*Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations.
*Good understanding of Health & Safety and SOPs.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
*Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
*Knowledge of freight forwarding, customs or supply chain would be advantageous.
*Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
