Michael Page are excited to support a very successful and prestigious organisation to appoint for a HR Manager role based at a manufacturing site near Buxton.
Due to the nature of this sector, the role is a fully office based role.
Description
The role of HR Manager will play a critical role to support leadership at this busy, fast-paced site. Working closely with the operational leadership team, you will provide expert guidance on all people matters associated with this manufacturing/supply chain division.
This will include but not limited to:
*Partner closely with site leadership and management providing expert advice on all people matters to ensure commercial goals are reached
*Support with recruitment projects and inductions
*Work closely with Trade Unions for the divisions
*Provide expert guidance and support on employee relations matters, ensuring positive outcomes.
*Develop and implement training programmes to support employee development.
*Lead on any change projects
*Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.
*Collaborate with other departments to align HR strategies with business objectives.
*Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and talent development
Profile
Successful applicants for this role will have:
*A proven background within a similar sector such as manufacturing/logistics
*A proven background within a unionised environment
*Be comfortable in a fully site based role, understanding the need for visibility within this sector
*Be comfortable dealing with a wide range of people matters ranging from supporting with administration and advisory duties through to partnering strategically with the site leadership
