A great opportunity for a Scottish qualified real estate lawyer with 4+ years’ PQE to join a Real Estate team handling significant transactions across multiple sectors. Based in Glasgow, the role offers exposure to major Scottish and cross-border work, acting for UK and international investors, funds and institutions.
This position would suit an Associate or Senior Associate seeking breadth of work, genuine responsibility and involvement in some complex real estate projects.

The role
You’ll cover a broad spectrum of real estate work, including acquisitions and disposals on behalf of investors, funds and institutions, together with asset management instructions such as lettings and lease variations. The role also involves retail and shopping centre matters, high-value commercial property transactions and student accommodation instructions throughout Scotland.
You’ll handle the Scottish real estate aspects of corporate transactions, act for lenders on substantial financing deals and work alongside colleagues in other jurisdictions on cross-border portfolios. There’s the opportunity to run your own matters while collaborating with the wider team on larger or multi-party transactions.
About you
This role would suit a Real Estate Associate/Senior Associate who:
*Has gained 4+ years’ PQE in Scottish real estate
*Is experienced in title review, lease work and negotiating sale and purchase agreements
*Has exposure to office, industrial and retail property instructions
*Can manage competing deadlines across multiple transactions
*Brings a commercial, practical approach to client work
*Works well collaboratively and supports the development of junior colleagues
*Is keen to build client relationships and get involved in business development
