Cover Supervisor | Redbridge, East LondonLooking to gain classroom experience in a secondary school setting? Prospero Teaching is recruiting confident and proactive Cover Supervisors to work across a range of Redbridge, East London secondary schools.
This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, coaches, youth workers, mentors, or anyone with experience supporting young people.
The Role
*Supervise classes during teacher absences
*Deliver pre-set work and lesson instructions
*Maintain positive behaviour and classroom engagement
*Support a safe and productive learning environment
*Provide feedback on student progress and behaviour
We’re Looking For
*Degree holders or candidates with relevant youth-based experience
*Strong communication and classroom management skills
*Confident, adaptable, and professional individuals
*Passion for supporting young people’s development
*School, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or youth work experience is beneficial
Working Hours
*Full-time, Monday to Friday
*Typical hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Requirements
*Right to Work in the UK
*Two years of professional references
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
*Completion of Prospero Teaching compliance checks
