Description
*Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
*Manage budgeting processes and provide variance analysis.
*Support financial planning and forecasting activities.
*Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
*Oversee month-end and year-end financial close processes.
*Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
*Assist with audits and liaise with auditors as required.
*Provide financial insights to support organisational objectives.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*Professional accounting qualifications e.g. ACCA, CIMA etc.
*Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
*Experience with restricted funding and accounting is essential
*Experience within the not-for-profit sector is essential
*Previous experience managing a team is essential
*Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
*Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
