Salary: £35,000/£40,000
Penguin Recruitment are currently working with a well established and growing planning consultancy based in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Town Planner to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planner looking to develop their career within a consultancy focused on strategic land, residential, commercial and renewable energy projects, gaining exposure to a varied range of planning work and working alongside experienced professionals.
The Role
*Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
*Undertaking planning research and providing planning advice
*Assisting with a variety of residential, commercial, strategic land and renewable energy projects
*Working collaboratively with clients, consultants and planning authorities
*Developing your professional and commercial planning skills
Requirements
*RTPI-accredited planning degree
*Strong research and problem-solving skills
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*A proactive, adaptable and creative approach
*Motivation to learn and develop within consultancy
*Professional and collaborative attitude
