Full job descriptionFrom Southport down to Bootle and everywhere in between, Sefton’s secondary schools are looking for energetic, passionate Teaching Assistants to join their vibrant teams!
Whether you’re supporting Key Stage 3 pupils building confidence or helping Key Stage 4 students navigate GCSEs, your presence in the classroom will help young people across Sefton reach their full potential.
What You’ll Do:
*Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
*Provide tailored 1-to-1 and small group support for students needing extra help.
*Help build student confidence, resilience, and academic success.
*Foster an inclusive, positive environment where every young person thrives.
What We’re Looking For:
*Relevant experience working with young people (schools, youth work, or tutoring welcome).
*Strong communication, patience, and a sense of humor.
*Enthusiasm for working in secondary education.
*Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).
