Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Coventry
Salary: £48,000 - £53,000 DOE + 20% Shift Allowance
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00)

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the performance, safety, and reliability of specialist production equipment and site facilities. This position offers a varied workload, real autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute directly to operational success.
The Role
The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of manufacturing and site infrastructure equipment. Working closely with production teams and fellow engineers, you will help minimise downtime, improve reliability, and support future engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production equipment and site services
*Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
*Support equipment upgrades, engineering projects, and new installations
*Coordinate and manage external contractors when required
*Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability
*Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
*Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
About You
To be considered, you’ll ideally have:
*A recognised electrical engineering qualification
*Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
*Strong electrical fault-finding capabilities
*A good mechanical understanding
*Experience supporting engineering projects and contractor management
*A proactive, self-motivated approach to work
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*A continuous improvement mindset
