Full job descriptionClass 1 Night Trunk driver – Double deck trailer.
*Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday nights – 6:30pm start. This will allow time to secure the load and pull the curtains and leave the depot by 7:30pm latest.
*1-hour unpaid break to be taken at the driver’s discretion, maintaining WTD and driving regulations.
*Travel time on average due to truck max speed of 56mph (Governed) 4 hours and 15 minutes on average to and from the hub in Burton.
*Unload and loading times can vary, from 1 hour to 2 hours at the hub as we have to unload in 2 warehouses and then queue up for loading.
*Overtime is standard hourly rate and usually is incurred if they get back late due to delays at the hub or traffic/road closures.
*We guarantee 60 hours for the employed drivers on this shift, so if they have a week of no issues and run under the 60 hours, they are still paid for 60 hours as a minimum.
Expected contract terms for the right candidate-
*Guaranteed 60 hours per week
*£13.64 per hour. £818.40 per week.
*Weekly pay
*Weekly bonus of £30. Deductible for damages to vehicle if deemed at fault or PCN’s received if at fault.
*6:30pm start, Monday to Friday.
*21 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
