Full job descriptionOur client, a well established medium sized, forward thinking business, are looking for a credit controller to come in and help them out initially on a temporary basis.
Client Details
Our client is based in Burton on Trent, they offer hybrid working (3 days office 2 days home) and 9-5 working hours.
Description
*Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments are received.
*Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and resolve payment queries.
*Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial records are maintained.
*Prepare reports on outstanding debts and update internal systems regularly.
*Work closely with the finance team to address account discrepancies.
*Assist in developing and improving credit control processes.
*Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
*Previous experience in a credit control or similar role.
*Strong numerical and analytical skills.
*Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
*Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
*A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial records.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving payment issues.
Job Offer
*Annual salary of around £30,000, plus holiday pay.
*Temporary position offering flexibility in Burton-on-Trent.
