An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established and highly regarded independent financial advice firm with a strong regional presence across Leeds and Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Paraplanner looking to join a growing Financial Planning team, supporting experienced Financial Planners and working across an established and increasingly complex client base.
The RoleAs a Paraplanner, you will provide high-quality technical, research and analytical support to the Financial Planning team, helping to deliver a first-class service to clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing suitability reports and client recommendations
*Conducting detailed research across investments, pensions, protection and wider financial planning
*Supporting Financial Planners with complex technical queries and client cases
*Preparing cash-flow analysis and financial planning reports
*Assisting with new business and ongoing client reviews
*Liaising with product providers and third parties
*Supporting the implementation of client recommendations
*Ensuring all work is accurate, compliant and completed within agreed timescales
*Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, regulation and industry developments
About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:
*Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent
*3+ years’ experience working as a Paraplanner or above
*Strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning
*Experience supporting Advisers with complex and high-value client cases
*Excellent research, analytical and report-writing skills
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Good knowledge of current financial planning regulation, including Consumer Duty
*Experience using financial planning and research systems such as Intelligent Office, Voyant, FE Analytics or similar
*A collaborative and proactive approach
*A genuine interest in developing your technical knowledge and career within financial planning
