Our client are specialists in their market sector; they are now looking to recruit a Document Controller.
The Role
*You will be responsible for coordinating, packaging and issuing client submittals for engineering projects.
*Project Documentation, coordinate and compile project documentation from internal and external stakeholders into structured, submittal-compliant packages in line with contractual and specification requirements.
*Coordinate with suppliers and third parties to obtain required technical documentation, ensuring completeness, compliance and alignment with project deliverables.
*Document Submission, issue and manage project documentation within the Client Document Management System ensuring accurate metadata, traceability and adherence to agreed document control procedures.
*Administer document workflows within CDMS, including submission, revision control, review cycles, and approval tracking, ensuring timely progression through all stages.
*Provide support to document control activities, including the preparation and issuance of manufacturing and construction documentation packages where required.
*Quality Control and Efficiency, identify and escalate gaps, inconsistencies, or non-compliances within submittal packages to relevant stakeholders, driving resolution to maintain project schedule and quality standard.
*Being open to tasks that require additional training and actively working on broadening your knowledge.
*Responsible for collecting, monitoring, processing, and analysing data.
*Reporting the data and making recommendations where necessary
*Providing timely and accurate information.
The Person
*Excellent computer skills, i.e., SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
*Experience using document management systems/portals.
*Ability to understand, interpret and communicate engineering drawings.
*Ability to create document submittal packages.
*Good understanding of project execution processes.
*Has strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to work.
*Highly organised and has a high level of accuracy.
