The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a qualified Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation based in Coventry on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a key leadership role, supporting financial operations, reporting, and business performance during a period of change and growth.
The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and will play a crucial role in ensuring the finance function operates efficiently while providing valuable commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities*Lead the month-end and year-end close process
*Prepare and review management accounts and financial reports
*Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
*Partner with operational leaders to provide financial analysis and strategic support
*Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
*Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial integrity
*Support audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
*Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and drive efficiencies
*Mentor and support members of the finance team where required
About You*Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
*Proven experience operating at Finance Manager level
*Strong management accounting and financial reporting expertise
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
*Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
*Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/finance systems
*Available to commence at short notice or immediately
