Full job descriptionAs an Audit Senior, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality audits, from planning through to completion, whilst building strong client relationships and supporting junior members of the team.

An established independent accountancy practice located in Leeds.


Description
As an Audit Senior, you will:
*Plan, carry out and complete audit assignments for a range of clients.
*Review financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
*Identify and address any issues or discrepancies during audits.
*Provide guidance and support to junior team members during audit processes.
*Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates.
*Identifying key audit findings and discussing recommendations with management.

*Work closely with Managers to ensure a seamless, high-quality service delivery.
*Stay updated with changes in audit regulations and best practices.
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
*ACA or ACCA qualified, or approaching qualification.
*Experience working within an accountancy practice audit environment.
*Strong understanding of UK audit and accounting principles.
*Ability to manage audit assignments and meet deadlines.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff is advantageous.


Job Offer
*Salary of £36,000 to £44,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Standard benefits package and employee support.
*Permanent position based in Leeds.
