About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people’s learning and development in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities*Support students in the classroom, individually and in small groups
*Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
*Support students with additional learning needs (SEND, EAL, or behavioural needs where required)
*Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
*Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence
*Support pupils’ academic progress and social development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have*Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
*A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*The ability to work effectively as part of a team
*A genuine interest in education and supporting student success
*Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
