Location: Rainham, London Borough of Havering
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Contract: Full-time / Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Rainham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs and make a real difference to their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:*Support pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties) on a 1:1 or small group basis
*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
*Provide emotional and behavioural support, helping pupils to regulate and engage positively
*Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
*Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:*Experience working with children with SEN (school or alternative setting preferred)
*A patient, caring, and resilient approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to follow guidance from teachers and SENCOs
*Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
