Location: North Lanarkshire (Hybrid Options Available)
Overview:
An established North Lanarkshire firm is seeking a Family Law Solicitor to join its team. The practice offers a flexible, supportive working environment with a strong focus on wellbeing, autonomy and high-quality client service. You will handle a varied caseload across both legal aid and private work.
Role Requirements:
*Managing a caseload of family law matters (mix of legal aid and private clients)
*Conducting court work, particularly in contact and child-related cases
*Working independently with minimal supervision
*Attending client meetings across locations as required
Experience:
*Ideally 2+ years’ PQE in family law
*Confident advocacy skills and regular court experience
*Ability to handle a busy caseload and work autonomously
*Experience with legal aid matters an advantage
Skills:
*Clear and empathetic communicator
*Organised, adaptable and able to prioritise
*Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
