Support Young Learners Through Personalised Education
We’re looking for a Primary Tutor to support children in the RG21 area through tailored 1:1 tuition.
Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you’ll provide personalised support to primary-aged learners who require alternative educational provision. Many of the children we support benefit from a patient, nurturing approach that helps build confidence, develop core skills, and encourage positive engagement with learning.
This is a rewarding opportunity for educators who enjoy making a direct impact on a child’s educational journey through individualised support.
Location: RG21 Area
Key Stage: Primary (KS1 & KS2)
Hours: Flexible
Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Type: 1:1 Tuition
Requirements
*Minimum 6 months’ experience delivering tuition or teaching within an educational setting
*Experience supporting primary-aged learners
*Good understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
*QTS preferred but not essential
*Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons
*Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally within the RG21 area

*Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
*Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
*ADHD
*Anxiety and school avoidance
*Speech, language, and communication needs
*EHCPs and additional educational needs
