*Previous experience working in a residential setting with young people
*Flexibility and adaptability
*Strong communication skills
*PVG scheme registration
*Full driving license (preferred)
What will you be doing?As a Residential Childcare Worker, your day-to-day tasks will involve providing 24-hour care to vulnerable young people. You’ll be responsible for ensuring their health, hygiene, and safety, and managing challenging behaviors with appropriate strategies.
*Providing 24-hour care, meeting children’s health, hygiene, and safety needs.
*Managing challenging behaviors using appropriate strategies.
*Administering medication and maintaining professional standards.
*Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and supervision of activities.
*Supporting educational needs and teaching essential life skills.
