An organisation in the Business Services sector, currently operating a 100% remote basis.
Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to put their stamp on this newly created role as Financial Controller.
Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for (but not limited to);


*Lead and develop the financial operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
*Ensure strong financial controls, balance sheet integrity and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
*Own treasury management, cash flow forecasting and working capital oversight.
*Lead statutory reporting, audit processes and tax compliance activities.
*Drive finance systems improvements, automation and process optimisation initiatives.
*Partner with senior stakeholders to provide accurate, timely and insightful financial information.
*Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and statements.


Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
*Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
*Experience in financial management within a large complex organisation
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in financial software and systems.
*Ability to lead and develop a finance team effectively.
*Strong communication skills to convey financial insights clearly.
Job Offer
*100% remote role
*Salary of £70,000 to £80,000 dependent on the level of experience.
*Potential to condense working week to 4 days
