Are you a Plant Fitter, or similar, looking to join a stable and independent company, where you can work on varied equipment?
On offer is the opportunity to join an established concrete pump hire company, who supply into the commercial, residential and industrial construction markets.
With a hands-on engineering operation, the business relies on well-maintained and reliable equipment to keep its fleet operational and ready for customer projects.
You will be responsible for keeping plant and associated products safe, reliable and ready for operation. This will include carrying out routine mechanical and electrical maintenance, repairs, modifications and fault finding. You will also assist with equipment installations and component fabrication.
The suitable candidate will have experience as a Plant Fitter and have a mechanical background with hydraulic and electric experience.


The Role
*Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on plant machinery and equipment
*Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise equipment downtime
*Fabricate and modify components using welding, soldering and assembly techniques
*Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and electrical wiring schematics
*Assist with the installation of new plant, equipment and systems
*Workshop based, with occasional travel to customer sites
*Monday to Friday. 8am - 5pm, 40 hours per week


The Person
*Experience working as a Plant Fitter or similar
*Mechanical background with electrical and hydraulic experience
