The Role
*Undertake geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, retaining structures, slopes and earthworks
*Interpret ground investigation data and prepare technical reports
*Carry out geotechnical calculations and modelling
*Support projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction
*Liaise with clients and multidisciplinary project teams
*Attend site visits and provide construction support
*Work towards professional development and Chartership
Requirements
*Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related discipline
*Previous experience within a geotechnical consultancy/design environment
*Good understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical design principles
*Experience with relevant geotechnical design software
*Strong communication and report-writing skills
*Working towards Chartership or an interest in achieving it
*Full UK driving licence preferred
