Hays Education is working with a range of primary schools across Canterbury that are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable KS2 Supply Teachers to provide high-quality classroom cover throughout the academic year.Whether you’re an experienced teacher looking for greater flexibility, an ECT keen to gain experience in different school environments, or a teacher returning to the classroom, supply teaching offers the opportunity to make a real difference while maintaining control over your schedule.
The Opportunity
As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you’ll work across a variety of primary schools, supporting pupils in Lower and Upper Key Stage 2. You’ll step into classrooms with confidence, deliver engaging lessons and ensure pupils continue to make progress in the absence of their regular class teacher.With opportunities ranging from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, supply teaching provides valuable variety and the chance to experience different school settings across Canterbury and the surrounding areas.
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or currently working towards it
*Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*The ability to quickly adapt to new school environments
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
