A leading North-West accountancy group is recruiting an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior for its Blackpool office. You’ll join a friendly and supportive team, working with an interesting mix of clients across different industries.

The roleYou’ll work across a combination of accounts preparation and audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and LLPs

*Supporting audit assignments, including fieldwork and audit file preparation

*Building relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day queries

*Working closely with Managers and Partners across a broad range of assignments

*Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team environment

*Managing your workload effectively and ensuring assignments are completed accurately and on time

What are we looking for?You’ll ideally have:
*At least three years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice

*Experience preparing statutory accounts

*Practical audit experience

*AAT qualification

*An interest in beginning, or already studying towards, the ACCA qualification

*Strong communication and client-facing skills

*Good organisational and time-management abilities

*A collaborative approach and committed work ethic
