A great opportunity for a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor with 1-3 years’ PQE to join a busy litigation team handling a broad range of defender personal injury matters. The role
You’ll act for insurers, businesses and public sector clients in defending a range of personal injury claims, including employer’s liability, public liability, road traffic accident and industrial disease matters.
The role will involve managing your own caseload while also assisting on more complex and high-value disputes. You’ll handle litigation in the Sheriff Courts and Court of Session, prepare legal documentation, provide strategic advice to clients and support matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
You’ll also have the opportunity to become involved in business development activities and help build and maintain client relationships.
About you
This role would suit a Solicitor who:
*Has 1-3 years’ PQE in litigation or dispute resolution
*Has experience of personal injury litigation, ideally defender work
*Is confident managing their own caseload
*Has excellent drafting and communication skills
*Takes a practical and commercial approach to legal issues
*Enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues
