REED Engineering are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Engineer on behalf of a successful and growing manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer who thrives on improving processes, solving production challenges and driving operational excellence. You’ll play a key role in enhancing manufacturing performance, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Driving continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations
*Analysing production processes and identifying efficiency gains
*Investigating production issues and implementing corrective actions
*Supporting new product introductions and process development
*Reducing waste, improving productivity and optimising workflows
*Working closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance teams
*Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards
*Creating and maintaining manufacturing documentation and procedures
*Supporting engineering projects from concept through to implementation
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering role
*Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
*Experience of continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen or Six Sigma principles
*Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Engineering qualification desirable but not essential
Salary & Benefits
*£38,000 - £43,000 salary

Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:15pm
