Join a large, vibrant secondary school in Mile End as a Cover Supervisor. This role is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a similar position, who are confident in leading classes and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring that pre-set work is delivered effectively.
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
*Provide feedback to teachers on lessons and student progress.
*Adhere to school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting.
*Strong behaviour management skills and confidence in leading classes independently.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young people.
*A reliable, resilient, and professional approach to work.
