Description
*Carry out welding, fabrication and fitting work on recycling plant and equipment.
*Repair and replace wear plates, conveyors, guards, chutes, hoppers and structural components.
*Support planned maintenance, reactive repairs and continuous improvement projects.
*Follow permit-to-work systems, isolation’s, hot work procedures and safety standards.
*Work closely with engineering, operations and maintenance teams to maximise plant availability.
Profile
*Experienced Fitter, Welder, Fabricator or Maintenance Technician.
*Background within recycling, waste, aggregates, construction, manufacturing or heavy industry.
*Skilled in welding, fabrication, mechanical fitting and repair work.
*Strong understanding of permit systems, risk assessments and safe working practices.
*Able to work independently and deliver high-quality, durable repairs.
Job Offer
*Salary of £35,000-£45,000 DOE.
*Monday to Friday days-based position.
