We are currently recruiting for a qualified Management Accountant to join a well-established organisation in Birmingham on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who can quickly add value within a busy finance team, supporting month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and key business partnering activities.
Key Responsibilities*Production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
*Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
*Business partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholders
*Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close activities
*Supporting financial planning and analysis processes
*Assisting with cash flow forecasting and financial modelling
*Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the finance function
*Supporting year-end and audit requirements
Candidate Requirements*Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
*Previous experience in a management accounting role
*Strong month-end and reporting experience
*Excellent Excel skills and strong systems knowledge
*Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
*Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
*Available to start at short notice or immediately preferred
