Full job descriptionAs a Credit Controller in Southampton, you’ll play a key role in managing the accounts receivable process for the retail industry. Your work will help ensure the smooth running of the company’s finances by maintaining healthy cash flow and reducing outstanding debts.

A company in the retail industry based in Southampton.
Description
*Manage customer accounts and monitor outstanding balances.
*Chase overdue payments via phone, email, or written correspondence.
*Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
*Prepare and distribute account statements and reports.
*Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
*Liaise with internal teams to resolve invoice queries.
*Assist with setting and monitoring credit limits for customers.
*Support month-end reporting and compliance processes.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
*Experience in credit control or a similar accounting role.
*Knowledge of financial processes and procedures.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Confidence in communicating with customers and internal teams.
*Proficiency in using financial software and Excel.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and debt management.
Job Offer
*Salary of £30,000 to £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
